School 2012

Anya's first day of kindergarten was last Friday.  In some ways, it feels like coming back home since she has returned to the school where she went to preschool for two years.  It was also the school she was at when she was diagnosed, and the staff there was incredibly supportive at the time.  While Anchor was good for Anya the past two years, being back at our neighborhood school is perfect now.  We walk four blocks to take her to school.  Anya adores her new teacher, Reese gets to bike and see her friends, Avery gets more exercise, and we all feel more connected to our community.  It is good to be back.
