Grateful Turkey

This year, we are thankful for the things that we have.

We have a roof over our heads and warm blankets to snuggle under.  We have the promise of a warm meal on Thanksgiving day and every other day as well.  We have a loving family, that shows their support to us daily in expected and unexpected ways.  We have friends that are so dear they are nearly family with whom we celebrate this holiday.  We have two little girls with the sweetest laughter in the world who teach us everyday of the year to be thankful for the simplest pleasures.

In the face of all these riches, it is a bit easier to forget that which we do not have.
