Inexhaustible

Anya ran her first official race this weekend.  Here she is in action on the hundred yard dash as part of the Children's Museum's Hop, Skip, and Jump Start.  She liked it so much, she is already asking if there will be another one next year.  Reese was able to race too - in the Infant Crawl event, although she didn't really want to crawl...and she didn't really want to cross the finish line.

In school, Anya's class is doing a unit on "All About Me."  One thing she needed to do was find out what her name means.  We always knew that it is a form of Anna, which means graceful.  With a little more searching, however, Will found out that Anya also means inexhaustible.  It appears to be true for our Anya.  If you had seen her last Friday night out on Main Street dancing to the bands, you never would have guessed that she spent the previous two days having chemotherapy pumped into her body.  This round feels to be the smoothest yet.  I guess everything truly is relative.
