#6 for the 6 year old

Anya has her sixth MRI tomorrow morning.  Once again, she will be sedated to ensure that she does not move a muscle in the sixty to seventy-five minutes that it takes to complete her MRIs.  There will be one of her brain and another of the orbits.  Our hope, as always, is that no signs of cancer growth are evident in either MRI.

We had planned on the ocularist coming to the hospital in order to remove, clean, and build-up her prosthesis while she was under anesthesia.  It took months of phone calls to numerous people to get it scheduled just right.  Yet in the end, the ocularist is suffering from back problems and will not be able to make it.  Even Anya is a bit disappointed that it won't work out to have that taken care of.  Taking that piece out will make for a shorter day, which should result in a happier Anya.  Here's hoping everything else goes smoothly for the day.
